Air- Conditioning Equipment
A combination of discrete and central heat sources as a hedge from the perspective of disaster response.
For the lecture hall and commons area, there are two installed absorption-type hot and cold water generators (80USRT). Because laboratory office times are irregular, EHP was adopted as a heat source for lab-type areas. As for other type of equipment, we have a central monitoring device to monitor all systems and manage schedules.
Water Supply
and Drainage
Facilities
1x Water tank 20m3, to supply each floor via a pressurized water system. A well may also be drilled in the future to improve disaster response. The main lifeline has been the lead-in from all parts of the seismic isolation layer that exists underground.
Other Equipment
This facility is very aggressive in attaining energy savings. Motion detection sensors have been installed to detect when students in the lecture hall. Areas have been zoned to better control Air volume, and the Air conditioner is under VAV control.
